Brandon
Matanick
Brandon brings a unique blend of clinical expertise, leadership, and a passion for helping others live healthier, stronger lives. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology from Bowling Green State University, is a Clinical Exercise Physiologist, and is a NASM Certified Personal Trainer, giving him the knowledge to help members move well, build strength, and stay active for years to come.
What inspired Brandon to pursue personal training was the opportunity to improve people's quality of life, not just in the short term, but for the long term. He believes there's nothing more valuable than investing in your health, and that few things are more costly, both physically and financially, than neglecting it.
Before entering the fitness industry, Brandon proudly served in the United States Marine Corps, where he was selected to work in the West Wing of the White House as a sentry on President Obama's security detail. The discipline, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence he developed during his service continue to shape the way he coaches today.
A former cross country coach and lifelong runner, Brandon still enjoys training for marathons and helping others improve their endurance, performance, and confidence. When he's not coaching at Move Detroit, you'll find him spending time with his wife and daughter or pursuing his next running goal.
